Christmas Wish List!!

Hey Peeps!

It's nearly Christmas!!!
And to get into the Christmas spirit I've made wish list of 3 make up products I've had my eye on for a while.

First is Rimmel London's Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I've been hunting around for a good powder that isn't shimmery and keeps my face looking non-patchy. After seeing its recommendations and reviews its looks like just what I've been looking for.

Next is Real Technique's Expert Face Brush. I have a weird obsession with make up brushes - especially Real Techniques. I've seen this one of their brushes in so many make up tutorials and looks like it would suit what I need it for which is buffering my foundation to give a matte and even finish.
Third is Maybelline's Volume Express Mega  Plush Mascara. I've been wanting a new mascara that gives my lashes the boost they need whilst avoiding clumps and without looking to stiff and unappealing and this looks to be the product I want.
So that's my make up wish list, have you guys got any products you want for Christmas? Comment and let me know.

Hiding those spots

Hi guys!

So here's my first post - enjoy reading and feel free to comment any suggestions.

Spots.... ugh. They're mean and annoying.
It can be really hard to find products that aren't stodgy, don't wear off and offer full coverage. The best and most common way to do this is to use foundation but it can be difficult to find one that gives a good result. In order or your skin to be looking and feeling beautiful we need to be able to rely on the right foundations as some can make your skin worse leaving you with more spots. When looking for foundations you need to look for a lightweight one labelled ''non-comdeogenic'' which is a fancy way of telling us that it won't clog up our pores or create more spot for us to deal with.
Here are a few I've found that work well at covering spots and acne-prone skin without being too heavy or give you that cakey feel.
This first foundation is Clinique's anti-blemish solutions liquid foundation. Although it is a little preicey it does an amazing job at covering those blemishes and scary spots whilst feeling lightweight as you wear it. This foundation also has skin-clearing properties that soothe any present sports so they clear as you wear it.

Next up is Neutrogena's skin clearing liquid make-up that offers medium/layer-able coverage which contains salicylic acid which helps breakouts instead of worsening them. As well as this, its oil-free which means it won't clog up your pores that would make more spots and blemishes.

On the other hand, if for some reason you don't want to wear a full-on liquid foundation, don't worry Maybelline's fit me foundation stick is here and is perfect for concentrating on the areas you want to hide without covering the whole of our face with foundation. This is perfect for anyone who wants to wear less liquid foundation and but still have the same effect as one.

This last one is Max factor's cream foundation. It's hydrating formula means its won't dry out your skin and again its oil-free so it won't clog any pores producing more break-outs. Its suitable for sensitive skin too.
